World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrader mod upgrade lets players increase the gear rating of an item by up to 700 points and give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you decide to take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons do not vary greatly post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with an unchanging bonus that increases their damage per second. In addition there are many weapons with an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a single unit. This bonus could be greater than the damage that an upgrade alone can cause.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For example an item upgrader with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue rise until it requires the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.

Upgraded weapons can also alter their base stats. While this is generally beneficial however, it could have negative consequences too. For items that only see use in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example), upgrading them may render them useless unless you happen to have an extremely fortunate roll.

The ability to upgrade items armor items to increase their performance. This can boost the defense of a chest or helm while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it can sometimes reroll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading, along with the relative values of those stats. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in a weapon receiving 33% attack damage. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will strike 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button in the item upgrades menu, using the arrows that are circling. This will roll an item and alter its stats, but not reset the weapon's levels, or bind it to account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survival. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE increases in resistance to curses, poison, fire, and magic. This makes it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense you have on your character, the more health you can gain from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and to unlock each one you have to complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed your main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each level will differ. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a decent-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold climates and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to withstand a full on raid with a few friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll need to concentrate on enhancing it to increase physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power when you're a Mage. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades for the armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you use to fight the final boss, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to unlock perks for your armor. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have some upgrades of the chest armor and helmets to allow you to stealth around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed provide the user with a temporary status effect. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to improve their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to potion require a certain amount XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a craft table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the cost of upgrading is dependent on the type of potion you'd like to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI that lets you select the potion you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they will give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total XP you have.

When a poton is upgraded in quality, it will not deteriorate until you use it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. For instance, splash potions now have an average duration of 0:08 (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display for the item). The table for potion is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players in Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, unlike Java Edition. The same is true for using a potion within an empty cauldron. This will draw out the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

Lastly, there are now lingering potions that are made using splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion' effect is extended by adding redstone. The table of potions is arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping and the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also be an ornament or object that serves a purpose, but isn't essential as a Thimble. In some cultures, trinkets are used to symbolize affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons or armor, as well as potions. These can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available with tokens, gold, or fragments from rare trinkets.

Upgrading a trinket is an affordable alternative to buying a new one. It is possible to upgrade the player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the old trinket but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets are no longer useful they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded among players which makes them a good alternative to gold.

In general players should upgrade their most important items first. This usually means the best-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries, and finally other pieces of gear that will not be replaced soon (for example, a ring or cloak). When choosing which items to upgrade, players must also consider the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to tank players then they should consider upgrading their chest, helm and shoulders.

Once they have become useless, trinkets can be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket has an additional 1% bonus. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it is salvaged with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still less expensive than buying the new one.
