Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to double stroller by the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It comes with 24 options in total and is the most highly rated stroller. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger’s soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter.
It features a medium-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window that is simple to open or close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there is a footwell adjuster to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is large however we wish it had a latch that was more secure. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers are a bit frustrating because they have to be unfastened and then refastened after every use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and an improvement over the clunky brake levers other competitors use.
This is the only stroller in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or for parents with one kiddo and a baby coming soon. It can be used with the majority of major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it on Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good alternative for families who already have car seats, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might prefer a convertible stroller in this instance.
