A special item can be used to develop specific Pokemon. The upgrade is obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item upgrader.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to increase attributes or other bonuses while the equipment being used. The equipment being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accommodate the component. Most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are added to an item of equipment. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought by karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.
There are different upgrade components, each with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used in any type of equipment; they provide lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enhancements are utilized for certain ascended back items. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias and enchantments will display their name in the hover display of the item upgrader while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their names to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item upgrader kit will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you insert and examine these special characters, as well as standard symbols such as em and en dashes as well as registered trademark symbols.
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that will influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses have been applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have that can be applied to the item upgrader mod you have selected. You are only able to apply the correct Glyph to the selected item. Each weapon or jewelry piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.
You can level up Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll get. Once a Glyph is at level 15, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your game, which is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus if certain conditions can be fulfilled.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to play the character or weapon you are interested in. This can be done for you to increase your level faster or to gain more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. A lot of players will play until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of ability. This could be due to the fact that they like the design or personality.
It is important to make a clean change when you reroll. This means you should check locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development check. The patch should be uploaded with a clear distinction to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take a few days or weeks depending on how lucky you are. During this time, you should avoid enemy camps that are optional to avoid wasting time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
When rerolling, it is crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance as well as power. These can include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and buying upgrades. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.
Rerolling isn't a necessity but it's a way to increase the chances of acquiring a certain character or weapon. It is a great option when you're trying to find the best character to play or if you're looking to try out different builds and play styles.
Sets
A set is a group of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or members of the class). Sets are used for operations such as intersection, union and differences.
Upgrades make a set item better than before. This means that weapons and armor will have a higher defense value and lower strength requirements.
Upgrading can be a great way to bring popular single-set items up to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can increase the defense from 217 to 321 and decrease the strength requirements and level requirements to a more feasible range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in an assortment are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Elite and Exceptional in their individual ways and do not require any upgrades. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their performance even more. For these types of items, it may be worth the extra expense to upgrade them.
